Sarah Purnell Kinney, 66, of Highland Heights, died Monday afternoon at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Kinney; daughters, Virginia Gibson Stasney of Crosby, Texas, Christine Scarlato of Cincinnati, Barbara Orleck of Randolph, Vt., Glenna Turner of California, and Shirley Hoffman of Southgate; brothers, Henry Mason Purnell of Covington, Charles Purnell of Melbourne, Ardith Purnell of Highland Heights and John Purnell of Ft. Thomas; sisters, Willa Pollitt of Melbourne and Martha Phillips of Cold Spring; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Cold Spring. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Cold Spring.
